We went to the zoo yesterday and had a great time. Lauren, Emma and I went with Elise, Kas, Addy, Zo, and Megan. I'm sure Meg loved walking all over the zoo, preggers. In this picture, there is some sort of African bird that is showing off during a presentation. Somehow, when the African King Vulture was flying a foot or two over our heads, I forgot to take any pictures. The presentation was interesting though.
Now, I messed up the other pictures and have to start over.

Natalie, I totally thought that we should call you and Megan said, no. I'm so kidding. You actually inspired this visit to the zoo with yours. I really did think that we should call and then thought, "She just went to the zoo last week." "School started back up today, but I'm not sure if Natalie's teaching anymore." "I should call" "Sonny, stop eating that!" "What was I just doing?"
So sorry, it would have been so much fun for you to come with us.

Natalie I would never tell anyone to not invite you! MOnique is such a liar. Elise invited us to go so I figured she had invited you too and that you were busy.
Nat Monique was just getting back at you for not stopping the car. I wish you two would stop all this quarreling!

So are there just animals at your zoo that like hot weather? So no polar bears or anything like that?
Nope, no polar bears. Tucson has polar bears. The closest we get are rain forest animals like spectacled bears.
Ok, the no Natalie invite is totally my fault. I was planning on going to the zoo on Friday, but Nat had just been to the zoo and had extra kids still, plus a super huge busy day, so I knew she didn't want to go. Our plan to go on Tues. came about when no one wanted to go to w/ me on Fri. and I wanted to spend more time there anyway. So I wouldn't end up the lone adult I just invited everyone in our family that I talked to over the weekend. Sorry, I guess I didn't talk to Natalie after my plans changed.
When I was up at the zoo waiting for Meg and Mo to show up, I thought I should call Natalie. Then I thought that would be so lame to call at the last minute and say, hey I'm already here so throw your boys together and get up here now.
Natalie, next time you are so the first person I am calling. It would have been even better had you been there.
